‘Take Back The Track’

Countryside campaigners are planning a protest against use of a Peak District bridleway near Hathersage by off-road vehicles.

Horse riders, residents and members of Friends of the Peak District want a ban on motor vehicles using Long Causeway, off Stanage Edge, and plan to stage an occupation of the lane to prevent motor vehicles using it.

The ‘Take Back The Track’ is on Saturday, July 15. Protesters want motorbikes and four wheel-drive cars banned because of erosion and danger to other users.
