Travel Lodge eyes the Peak District

Travelodge has announced that it is looking to build hotels near the UK’s National Parks in the next part of its expansion. The hotel chain is to build 37 hotels in the rural locations over the next year, at a cost of £135 million.

The first hotel to feature in the development is a former mill building in Glossop in the Peak District. This is in response to a significant surge in rural breaks.

Annually over 60 million people visit the UK’s national parks.
