Horse Society honour DCC

DERBYSHIRE County Council has been honoured with an award from the British Horse Society for its work in opening up routes for horse riders.

The county council’s countryside service has worked with local riders to plan access to traffic-free bridle paths and secure parking for horse boxes and trailers at the county council’s country parks.

A Horse Ride Derbyshire leaflet gives information on the county’s riding routes, locations of approved riding schools, horse box and trailer parking and lots of contacts for different routes and organisations and tips for safe riding.

If you wish to receive a copy of the Horse Ride Derbyshire leaflet showing suggested riding routes and trails around the county please Call Derbyshire on 08 456 058 058.
