Our Father – a new play about the Peak District

This play is currently showing at Watford Palace Theatre but maybe worth looking out for if it hits the circuit.

From the Telegrapg reviewer: “The drought is coming this summer, and Charlotte Keatley saw it coming. Her   highly timely new play Our Father forecasts such a dearth of rainfall in the   UK that a Peak District reservoir runs dry enough for an ancient village,   flooded decades before, to start emerging from its watery grave. As it does   so, it yields secrets that have lain dormant for 800 years and which draw   forth – in some curious otherworldly way – long-buried family traumas among   the living.”
