Caravan site purchase

THE PEAK District National Park Authority has bought a £650,000 caravan site in Foolow to help prevent harm to the landscape.

When planning permission for the site was approved in 1998 the intention had been for the site to only be used by touring caravans. But the company won a planning appeal in August 2011 which allowed them to use it for static caravans.
