Derbyshire police investigate chocolate ice-cream

When I first saw the headline police investigate choc-ice slur I firmly believed that this story was about anything but racism – but it is infact about racism. Apparantly  the term ‘choc-ice’ is understood to have racial connotations meaning a person is ‘black on the outside’ and ‘white on the inside’.

Some geezer from Derbyshire tweeted to Rio Ferdinand saying Ashley Cole was a “choc ice”, someone complained and now the police, as if they are not already overworked with the Olympics have to investigate  to establish whether any criminal offences have been committed.

If Ashley Cole is not making a complaint then why are they bothering. Surely only Ashley Cole is affected here? Or am I being a complete vanilla ice? LOL ipop.
