‘Charles and Diana wedding’ toast sold for £230 sums up this Country

A piece of toast, said to have come from Prince Charles’s breakfast on the day
he married Princess Diana, has been sold at auction for £230.

This suggests to me that whoever bought this “unsubstantiated slice of history” has more bread than sense and is indicative of the gulf between rich and poor in this country.
