Carry on Camping

Visit Peak District and Derbyshire has teamed up with one of its key partners The Camping and Caravanning Club to produce the area’s own 34-page Camping & Caravanning Guide 2012.

As well as tips on how to find the perfect camp site a full list of quality graded campsites and their facilities, the brochure features a useful map showing all nine Camping and Caravanning Club sites in the area – including its recently-acquired Drayton Manor Club Site in Tamworth, Staffordshire, part of the Drayton Manor theme park and near the world famous Belfry golf course.

There are also useful details of YHA Camping Barns – plus information about the area’s varied landscapes, market towns, villages, key attractions, fun activities for families, regal connections, Diamond Jubilee events tourist information and visitor centres and public transport.

Copies of the Camping & Caravanning Guide 2012 are available at Tourist Information Centres in and around the area.
